Visa Requirements
International patients travelling to India for IVF treatment require a Medical Visa (M-Visa). Age and Eligibility
Under the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021, the legal age limit for IVF in India using self-eggs is 50 years for women and 55 years for men. For women over 35, ovarian reserve testing is essential to determine whether treatment with self-eggs is viable.
IVF Timeline for International Patients
A standard IVF cycle using self-eggs takes approximately three to four weeks. It includes consultation and testing, ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, laboratory fertilisation and embryo culture, and embryo transfer. A pregnancy blood test follows 10 to 14 days after transfer. We recommend planning a stay of at least three to four weeks.
